These figures reveal the huge black hole that our time disappears into when we visit Facebook, Twitter or YouTube or other social media sites.

- People spend 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook
- Each Facebook user spends on average 15 hours and 33 minutes a month on the site

Some of these facts really surprised me, for example no.18: 500,000 users a day added to twitter. Thats an insane amount of people and its is obviously very quickly adding up the numbers of users in total.
ReplyDeleteAlso no. 8 about the facebook apps. That is also an incredible amount per day, but I suppose in relation to the amount of users its doesnt seem quite so large.
I know, its quite scary how much time people spend on these social networking sites. it has made me realise that I must spend too much time on these aswell.
